AREAS FOR VOLUNTEERING
ADOPTION EVENTS - Adoption events need volunteers to help manage the animals at the events. Duties include but are not limited to: holding the animal or its leash, walking the animal, keeping water bowls filled, helping to clean up 'messes', directing visitors to the correct person or literature.
SHELTER WATCH - The Shelter Watch program needs volunteers to help get shelter animals adopted. Shelter duty includes but is not limited to: visiting your local shelter 1 weekday per month (like, every Friday), taking digital pictures of the animals, posting them on the ARFNets Shelter Watch system.
ROUTE MAINTENANCE - ARFNets delivers animal catalogs, brochures, and 'Critter' magazines to many sites as well as maintaining donation jars at some of those sites. Route maintenance includes but is not limited to: updating animal catalogs, replenishing brochures, delivering monthly 'Critter' magazines, placing and/or collecting donations from donation jars.
